Kernel KN4003BL2D - NB UV-B Philips is a modern compact 311 nm narrowband UVB lamp with an efficient and long-lasting light source from Philips, developed for light treatment of skin conditions such as vitiligo, psoriasis, eczema and pityriasis rosea. It is cordless and powered by rechargeable batteries. Charger for recharging the batteries is included.

This model is particularly suitable for treating scalp psoriasis, for example, thanks to the included comb that helps to get between the hairs. The lamp also works well on other parts of the body where the comb helps to maintain a good treatment distance.

Treatment

Typically, 2-3 treatment sessions per week for 8-10 weeks are recommended. Avoid overexposure, and adjust the treatment time according to your skin type. We always recommend that you consult your dermatologist before use to get the best customized treatment plan possible.

The lamp is equipped with a timer and a simple LCD screen. Please note that the use of salicylic acid externally reduces the effect of UV treatment, and should therefore not be combined.

Follow the instructions and remember to always protect your eyes from UVB radiation with the included safety glasses.
