Treatment

Narrowband/narrowband (NB) UVB lamp that operates at a specific wavelength of 311 nm. It is this exact wavelength that is recommended by the Swedish Medicines Agency for the treatment of psoriasis and is used by dermatologists and doctors in the treatment of psoriasis. If you do not have the time or opportunity to undergo these treatments in a clinic, you can use this lamp at home.

For optimal results, 2-3 treatment sessions per week for 8-10 weeks are recommended. Avoid overexposure, and adjust the treatment time according to your skin type, always starting with the lowest dosage. The lamp is equipped with a timer and a simple LCD screen. The radiation value is 7 mw/cm2. Note that the use of salicylic acid externally reduces the effect of UV treatment, and therefore should not be combined. Follow the included instructions and remember to always protect your eyes from UVB radiation with the included protective glasses.

Kernel KN4003BL2D - NB UV-B Philips is a modern compact 311 nm narrowband UVB lamp with an efficient and long-lasting light source from Philips, developed for light treatment of skin conditions such as vitiligo, psoriasis, eczema and pityriasis rosea. It is cordless and powered by rechargeable batteries. Charger for recharging the batteries is included.
