Calendula oil

Organic calendula oil has anti-inflammatory properties and is effective for skin problems such as psoriasis, rosacea, eczema and rashes. The long history of the marigold as a well-known medicinal plant is reflected in its Latin name, officinalis , which comes from "officina", which means pharmacy or workshop. The marigold is known for its wound-healing properties and is used for eczema, sun damage, burns, acne and irritated skin. Calendula oil improves skin quality and is suitable for all skin types, especially dry and sensitive skin.

Marigold oil is rich in nutrients such as:

• Salicylic acid , which is bactericidal and effective against wounds, eczema, psoriasis and acne.
• Calendulin , a bitter substance with reparative and healing properties.
• Flavonoids , antioxidants that protect the skin against free radicals and prevent premature aging.

How to use: Apply calendula oil or calendula ointment to the affected area twice a day. The oil contains the flowers' bioactive substances (e.g. triterpene saponins, lupeol, sesquiterpenes and flavonoids), which soothe and stimulate the skin's healing processes. Natural vitamin E (tocopherol) is added for increased durability.
